Short version: we collect what it takes to sell a ticket and get you in the door. We don't sell your data. Ever.
What we collect from guests
- Your name and email, so your ticket reaches you and the door knows it's you ("¡Pásale, Mike!").
- What you bought: the show, how many tickets, what you paid, and when your ticket was scanned at the door.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy covers what they keep.
What we collect from hosts
- Your email (to sign in by link, no passwords), your team's emails, your page (name, words, colors, fonts), and what you upload (logo, photo, clips).
- Your Stripe account's ID, so sales go to you. Your bank details stay with Stripe.
Who sees it
- The host of the show sees the names and emails of the people with tickets, so they can run the door, send updates if the show changes, and handle refunds. What the host (or their venue) does with your info outside Pásale is up to them and their own policies.
- Services that run Pásale: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, storage, video), Resend (emails), Apple and Google (only if you add a ticket to your wallet). They only get what they need to do that job.
- Nobody else, unless the law makes us.
Cookies and your phone
One cookie keeps hosts signed in. The door page saves the guest list on the door phone so it works with no signal. No ad trackers.
How long we keep it
Ticket and sales records are kept as long as the law needs for taxes (about 4 years in Texas), then deleted. Hosts can delete their page anytime.
Your choices
Want a copy of your data, a fix, or for us to delete it? Email hello@pasale.app and we'll take care of it (some sales records have to stay for taxes).
Pásale isn't for kids under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
